5:05 p.m. Deb and I have decided to do an upgrade to first class because we are tired and a little under the weather and the plane is full and we really really would like to get a good sleep. I won't tell you how much the upgrade was.

6:15 Weather delay, thunderstorms in area.
6:45 p.m. on the way to Brussels. 1 hour delay.

Random Thoughts of the Day

The total travel time was about 16 hours, so really that's pretty good considering that we had two transfers, one in Washington at Dulles, and one on Brussels.

Meaningful Moments / Notable Memories

Flying first class. Need I say more?

Leaving Rochester

I am actually lying down in my seat as if it were a bed. United priority passenger. This is what we paid extra for.
Plus superb customer service from the flight attendants.
